Accessibility
Where this site meets WCAG 2.2 AA, and where it falls short.
We want everyone to be able to use this site, whether they're sourcing furniture or applying for a job, and whatever they use to browse. Here is the standard we build to, what we have checked, where we know it falls short and how to reach us.

The standard: WCAG 2.2 AA, partially conformant
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Status: partially conformant. Parts of the content do not yet fully meet AA; they are listed under known limitations below. The site has not been independently audited.
What we have built and tested
- Pages were checked with automated WCAG 2.2 AA tests at desktop and phone sizes, and for sideways scrolling at 320 pixels wide and at 200% zoom.
- Text over photographs, the looping workshop video and the moving home page hero is measured pixel by pixel for contrast, because automated tools can't judge text on images.
- Pages were walked by keyboard alone, checking that focus stays visible and is not hidden under the header.
- Anything that moves on its own can be paused with a "Pause motion" button, and the setting carries across pages. If your device asks for reduced motion, nothing moves at all.
- Forms have visible labels, say which fields are required, explain errors next to the field that needs fixing and keep what you typed.
- Headings, landmarks, tables and lists use proper HTML. Images have text alternatives.
Known limitations
- Library photographs: their text alternatives give each silhouette's name rather than describing its shape and materials. The name and dimensions are also written under every photo.
- PDF downloads: the capability sheet and line card are not tagged for screen readers. The same information is on the site as web pages: capabilities, contact and the library.
- The monogram link to the home page, in the top-right corner, sits outside the page's landmark regions. It is still reachable by keyboard and screen reader.
- The home page hero's 3D field is decorative. Dragging it is the only way to steer it, but it holds no content, and the same silhouettes are in the library.
Compatibility
The site is designed for current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile. It works without JavaScript for reading and navigation, and the forms need it only for their inline error messages.
How this statement was prepared
Self-evaluation by the team that builds the site, using manual review, automated testing (axe-core) and scripted keyboard and contrast measurement. It was last reviewed on the date at the top of this page.
